The history of the “Crossfire” lures started a few years ago as a concept made up from a theory that I had about targeting Flathead on surface lures.

I like many other Anglers had become addicted to top water Whiting and had started to get the odd Flathead as a by-catch, I quickly realized that Flathead could be targeted reliably on topwater lures . It was at this point that i started my journey to find the best lure for the job. Many came close. but something was missing. Those small important details, like buoyancy and rate of rise. I just couldn’t buy what I wanted, let alone an Australian product. So I decided to build it.

A number of people helped  to get the first proto-type up and running, some of the advice was gold and some was lead, I finally quit my day job and took the business on full time, and we haven’t looked back.  ……Best decision ever. I love making lures for people and get a huge buzz when i see how well they have performed for them. If you would like to give them a go, please do, we wont disappoint.
